Step right into the world of DIY fun with this delightful project: making translucent paper cones filled with tissue paper confetti! To start, you'll need translucent paper, or any kind of paper you'd like, but we went with a cool translucent option for a special touch, and any color tissue paper. These two materials will be the star of your cones.
FIRST
Start with your translucent, or whichever color paper you are using, and take a corner of the paper and fold it across to line up with the edge of the paper. Trim off the access rectangle shape at the bottom. You should be left with a folded triangle shape, which you will cut on the fold to create two triangles.
SECOND
Take the bottom corner of your triangle and bring it to meet the point of your triangle. Tape it down to secure in place. Followed by taking the other corner and bring around back of your half-circle and again secure down with a piece of tape.
NEXT
The fun part: Creating the confetti! Grab some tissue paper and cut into small, confetti-sized pieces. You can play with different shapes – think circles, squares, or even stars.
