Material Preferences: Please select the material, paper stock, or finish preferred for this custom order. Options may include smooth paper, matte finishes, textured stocks, or other specialty materials depending on the product.

Adobe® .PDF:

  • Please embed all fonts, images, and supporting elements before submitting a PDF file.
  • Native design files are preferred over PDF files. PDF files require fewer support files, but they allow less flexibility for editing.
  • PDF files should be submitted as high-resolution artwork files with all elements color separated and assigned the correct Pantone uncoated colors.
  • Files should be accurate in size, position, color, layout, and artwork placement. Only minor modifications will be made free of charge.

Photoshop® CC or earlier: .EPS, .PSD, .TIFF

  • All files should be created or scanned at a minimum 300 dpi resolution, 100% size.
  • Changing a low-resolution 72 dpi file to 300 dpi is not recommended, as it does not create the same high-resolution print quality.
  • Layers should be left intact whenever possible.
  • Any fonts used in the design should be included.
  • Color files may be submitted as a multi-layered TIFF file, with each color placed on its own layer.
  • 1-color and 2-color files submitted in CMYK or RGB format may sometimes be converted or color separated for an additional art fee. This fee will depend on the complexity of the file.
  • Colors can be selected with a reasonable degree of accuracy, but choosing colors from Pantone uncoated swatches is strongly recommended. Please include Pantone color notes in the order comments.
  • JPG and GIF files are generally low resolution and may produce poor print results. These file formats are not recommended for custom printing artwork.
Illustrator® CC or earlier: .EPS, .PSD, .TIFF
  • Illustrator files should be submitted as EPS or AI files and should be created in vector format.
  • All file elements should be assigned a Pantone uncoated color.
  • Any font files used should be included, or fonts should be converted to outlines.
  • Any embedded or linked images, including PSD, EPS, TIFF, or other support files, should be included with the artwork submission.
Word®:
  • Microsoft Word is not an ideal design program and works best for simple 1-color or 2-color text-based artwork.

    Any font files used should be included.

    Whenever possible, Word documents should be converted to PDF files by selecting File > Save As > Download/Save as PDF.

    Generic color(s) selected in word such as
    "Red" or "Blue" will be substituted with our stock Pantone®
    uncoated colors     such as Pantone® 185 Red or Pantone® 072 Blue.
