  3. You can use forever stamps on international mail. The total postage has to add up to the current rate 1.15.

  4. I have often wondered how to mail small objects less than 1/4″ in final thickness weighing less than 1-3 ounces using USPS. I have had small envelopes returned for insufficient postage (1 forever stamp) using USPS and requiring an extra stamp for what I understand as non-machinable stamping. I have received MANY small envelopes from China using very small, flexible plastic envelopes that look like AirMail envelopes and wondered if these are legal to use in the US and how much postage to affix.
