how to these close (exactly)? is it a velcro strip closure? I need something that does not open too easily.

These cello sleeves have an adhesive strip that can be reused multiple times. It will not open on its own under any circumstances.

Hello! These Clear Cello Sleeves are meant for single sheets, so we do not think a book would be able to fit inside, unfortunately. You can check out our Clear Plastic Envelopes (https://www.jampaper.com/Envelopes/PlasticEnvelopes), but please keep in mind there is a slight tint so the cover might not be completely visible. Sorry for any inconvenience, hope this helps!
