7/29/08: New York Times front page of The Arts Section, has an article featuring Estelle Parson, a star on Broadway. The front page picture shows Estelle in her aparment, where a JAM Paper Shopping bag can be seen on the floor behind her.

Though it might look bare-bones, this 7,000-square-foot joint brims with a host of goods for your home office. Rummage through the shelves for neon-hued recycled card stock (from $15 for 50 sheets), parchment labels ($6–$12), precut business card sets ($8) and all sorts of unusually shaped envelopes (beginning at $4). Bargain hounds shouldn’t miss the store’s frequent sales to save some serious green.

2007 Zagat Shopping Guide (regarding the JAM NY stores): Crafters, students and arty types of all stripes swear by the "deep but not large" selection of funky colored "paper, paper, everywhere", (including stationery, folders, portfolios, gift-wrapping, boxes and "odd-sized" envelopes") at these "cluttered" Downtown "warehouses"; sure they're "cheap", but some "frustrated" fans fume the "self-serve" attitude means "they just Jam it in and don't help you pull it out."
