I agree with the question above and want to know why it says that they are not mailable.  What does that mean?

Asked by: hannahharrah
Sorry, that is a mistake on our end. These envelopes are mailable, but they might require extra postage because they are square, and do not meet the 5" minimum length requirement. The USPS has more information here: http://pe.usps.gov/businessmail101/mailcharacteristics/letters.htm.

Why are these envelopes not mailable?

Asked by: Lann
According to the USPS, envelopes must measure at least 3.5" high by 5" long (http://pe.usps.com/businessmail101/mailcharacteristics/letters.htm). These 4.5" square envelopes do not technically fulfill the length requirement. However, customers have told us that they have successfully mailed these envelopes in the past, so mail at your own risk!

are these envelopes gummed (sealable)?

Asked by: Becky
Yes, these envelopes have a standard gum closure - licking or wet stamping is required. Thanks for your question!
